MINAMI DAITOJIMA ISLAND

“A charming island floating through the ocean”

Minami Daitojima is an island which is populated by unique species protected by the island’s surrounding cliffs and the absence of beaches. Still, it is home to several limestone rock formations with Hoshino Cave being the largest of them. Within the island is Japan’s largest collection of lakes numbering around 100 small bodies of water.
